Cooking Instructions
Traditional Preparation Instructions for best results :
1. Measure 250 ml (1 cup) of rice.
2. Clean the rice in water and then drain.
3. Then soak the rice in a saucepan for 10 minutes in 500 ml
(2 cups) of water.
4. Add salt, with butter or margarine or olive oil.
5. Bring to boil, stirring once or twice.
6. Cover, reduce heat to low. Simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until most water is absorbed.
7. Do not remove lid while cooking.
8. Remove from heat, let stand covered about 5 minutes.
9. Fluff with a fork and serve.
